My internet as of recent has been randomly dropping as much as 6-7 times in a 15 minute span its getting unuseable at times its insanely frustrating and i need someone to check this out. here are some logs for this. Other times theres no issue and certain times this can go on and on and on.

Hi zephyrX1

I'm so glad to hear that the connection has remained stable.

If you do experience any further issues then please let us know.

I have sent you a Private Message with a link to a short survey for the Community.

Thanks

after monitoring it for a bit it hasnt dropped or reset itself randomly so far which is a good sign, theres the slight chance that the problem was caused by a leak in our house which has been resolved since also which the issue was roughly around the master socket.

Hi zephyrX1

Ok no problem. I will check in again with you tomorrow to see how the connection has been whilst connected at the test socket.

If you are experiencing the same issue then I will arrange the engineer visit for you. If the fault continues to happen today then please let me know on this thread and I can start the engineer booking process straight away.

Thanks again.

I mean preferrably id like a visit to be arranged and in the meantime ill monitor the line and see if it keeps doing the same thing. That would be greatly appreciated.

HI zephyrX1

Thanks again. The same fault has been detected on the line test.

Would you like to monitor the connection at the test socket first? Or alternatively I can arrange an Openreach engineer visit.

okay i will do in a moment, to be sure should i use plug the landline into the filter?

Hi zephyrX1

Thank you 🙂

This socket should have a test socket underneath the face plate.

If you gently squeeze the two clips on either side of the socket then the lower section of the face plate should come away to reveal the test socket. Would it be possible to connect the filter and router at the test socket? (I can then run another line test in this set up)

Hi zephyrX1

Thanks for your reply.

Would it be possible to post a photo of your master socket on this thread, just so I can check if you have a test socket?

I would like for that please and thank you, the router is connected to the only socket in the house so i have no clue if thats the main or test socket. I do use my landline and only every so often have i noticed any noise but 90% of the time it seems to be fine and its never really noticeable if there is any noise.

Hi zephyrX1

I'm really sorry to hear this.

The line test is detecting a potential fault towards the property and Openreach are requesting that we arrange an engineer visit.

Is the router connected at the test socket at the moment?

Do you use your landline? If you do, are you experiencing any noise on the line when making calls?
