I have now tried several times to get a support agent to push firmware 1.06t to my router as I am experiencing repeated kernel panics. As a remote worker, this is causing me serious issues when the router reboots in the middle of a presentation.
I realise the agents in the chat are not technical specialists and are simply following a script, but I need this sorting.

I leave the router on at all times so the firmware can be updated at any point.

Will it be ok if I make a change to your firmware this morning?
We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW. This should take no longer than 15 minutes to update.

I do hope so as I've now had yet another kernel panic which makes 6 times today
