Sagecom WiFi hub. Firmware ending in 136

 

Adding my query/comment to the growing pile of similar on here

 

Since Monday 2 May work VPN does not connect, nor Bosch EasyControl thermostat. WhatsApp “thinks about it” before displaying messages, and similar with emails 

 

Everything works fine if I reduce firewall security settings to Medium, which I’m not keen to do on a permanent basis. 

Any fix for this in sight, or do I need a firmware rollback?

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

I will need to make a change to your firmware, when would be the best time to do this?

 

We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW. This should take no longer than 15 minutes.

Hi @ggttjm,

 

The support team may be able to make some changes to resolve the VPN issues, not sure if that will help with the other issues though.

 

What VPN software do you use, or is it the built in Windows 10/11 VPN ?

 

The support team will hopefully be able to reply tomorrow to help.
