Hi,

After a system update, I realized I am unable to connect through PPTP to my VPN server.

The TalkTalk router's firmware version is SG4K100136 . Is there an update available and do you think you can upgrade this firmware on my router?

Thank you very much for your support.

Hi Radus

I'm so glad to hear this 🙂

Quick question. Is this router able to act as a VPN server and to allow devices to connect to it? - No sorry.

I have also sent you a Private Message with a link to a short survey for the Community.

Thanks again.

Hi Radus

Apologies for this.

I will need to make a change to your router firmware, when would be the best time to do this?

We advise to leave the router switched on without being rebooted whilst we update the FW. It should take no longer than 15 minutes to update.

Thanks

Hi @Radus,

SG4K100136 is known to cause VPN issues for some customers, when the support team are back on Monday they may well be able to update your router to a different version of firmware that is more reliable with VPN connectivity.
