Thanks for your reply, I prefer to view tv with a combination of catch up and planned recordings, the new box offered by TT won't give me this service. To view ITVX it will cost me £5 extra a month, when I thought TV was apart of my original package, a little bit disappointing considering I've been with TT 15 years . Like others, when my contract comes to the end, I will have to consider my options.

Hi glynnman

The ITVC app is not supported on the older legacy youview boxes.

If you give our teams a call you can discuss options for a new streaming box that will support the ITVX app.

Thanks

Karl.

It's purely cosmetic as ITVX is the current app.

Logging on gives a message that the ITV Hub is no longer compatible with the box.

This is an ITV decision and nothing to do with TalkTalk. ITV updated the software and the old boxes hardware is no longer compatible.

This is affecting a large number of devices, not just these boxes, and as equipment get older other apps will probably fall by the wayside too.

If you have a smart TV hopefully it is still compliant and will load ITVX.

An alternative is the 4k or Hub box, but you will to recontract, or a Roku or Amazon fire stick.
