My. Huawei router has Firmware version H.1.01 and software version v2.006.

How do I update them?

Still working fine today download at 36.3, upload at 7.10. Other connected services all OK. Many thanks for your assistance.

After second factory reset. rout would not connect to Internet. I unplugged power for 25 minutes and rebooted with suveesful connection to internet. I have my car charging hub and central heating Hive all connected and working. Speed test gave 37.4Mbps download speed and 6.80 upload speed - all normal for my connection.

I will wait to see if it is stable overnight and all OK tomorrow morning.

New router not connecting to internet. I have tried disconnecting for 30 minutes and reconnecting to no avail. Online chat a waste of time - no response in 35 minutes. Then they text me to connect to TalkTalk.co.uk/tech when I have no internet connection - brainless! Wher do I go from here? I clearly need to speak to a human being on a landline to sort this out.

The replacement router is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Over the last 3 months I have had to reboot router several times to restore usual download speeds to enable streaming on tv. This has not normally been a problem to me hence the query re updating hardware/software which is apparently not available for this old router.

You can't I'm afraid, it is an old model and no longer supported. If you would like the support team to consider replacing this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.
