Non TalkTalk router setup

How difficult is it to configure a non talktalk router and where can I locate the necessary information on my talktalk router as I am considering purchasing my own router? I currently have an HG633 and I am now on Fibre 65 but I keep getting Internet disconnected. Have raised this with TalkTalk and requested a new router. BT Openreach have been a replaced external wiring but I am still getting disconnected

I've checked the logs at our end and although there were drops yesterday your connection appears to have been stable so far today

It's worse. 4th time I have lost connection so I really hope this is just a settling in phase.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the connection will start to stabilise now but we'll re-check your connection stats first thing in the morning and will post an update here.

Good afternoon @Michelle-TalkTalk , router has arrived and is connected. Its been active for about 30 mins and I have had one blip where the white light turned orange. This might be a one off but I will keep an eye on it for now
