I have had my current Talk Talk router now for many years (10+ I think)

It must have been superseded in that time.

How do I go about doing this please?

Thanks.

Peter.

My replacement router was promptly delivered and is now installed.

I have already noticed a significant improvement all round.

Thanks to everyone for their help in this matter.

Good service from TalkTalk as usual.

Absolutely, I have done that many times over the years, it is really the easiest way to go with so many wireless devices connected these days.  🙂

Hi,

When I receive the replacement router is it possible I could change it's wireless network name and the wireless password to those of the old ( current)  router  to avoid having to reconnect my devices?

Thanks.

Hi

That router is a little old now, so a new one is now on the way to see if this helps.

Regards,

Karl.

Hi Debbie,

Well, the router is still working but I have seen a drop in Wi Fi signal strength of late and my internet radio disconnects and re connects on occasion.

I have my TV hard wired to the router and it is working fine on that.

I was thinking this may be due to the age of the router, details of which are:

Huawei HG633

Hardware Version: H.1.01

Serial No: C4R8W15413005000

Thanks,

Peter.

Hi Debbie,

Well, the router is still working but I have noticed a drop in WiFi signal of late and my internet radio has been dropping the signal and re connecting recently.

My TV which is hard wired to the router has no problems.

I thought that the age of the router may be the cause.

Hi @digby2

I can send you a replacement router. Can I just check, are you experiencing a fault with your current router?

Thanks

Debbie
