When it rains.............................

Hello,

 

As the subject title says when it rains my connection disconnects until the rain either stops or eases. My telephone line quality is perfect, it does not have any pops crackles etc. whether it rains or not.

I am using the D-Link DSL 3782 running V1.08t firmware and A1 hardware versions. When it's not raining my connection is rock steady with no dropouts although my speeds are down from when I have a DLM reset done.

Please can someone run a line test and let me know the outcome. To me it's an obvious HR connection somewhere.

Hi fishgodeep,

 

I'm sorry to hear this and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which hasn't detected a fault, however the connection does still look unstable. Is it raining at the moment?

 

Does your master socket have a test socket? Have you ever tested with an alternative router? Once we've confirmed this then we can pass the intermittent connection over to our Network Team for further investigation.
