broadband speed

I have experienced varying broadband speeds for a while now.  Currently with your speed test facility it is running at 66Mb.  A few days ago it was running at 32Mb.  I have unplugged and re plugged my connections in the past and nothing changed. The only times there has been a change is when the hub is switched of and then on again.  My hub is a HUAWEI  HG633, which I have had for about 7 years. Is it out of date as I am on the Fibre Broadband package?  It is most noticeable when using my Smart TV on iPlayer for example.  I get the spinning circle displayed for several seconds before the program restarts.  Windows 10 says my connection is unsafe. Is that a clue.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on your line now which is clear. The HG633 is one of our older routers. Would you like us to send a replacement router (Wifi Hub) to see how the connection compares?
