Hi
My router has suddenly stopped operating on the 2.4Ghz WiFi it seems.
Devices can connect to the 5Ghz channel OK, but not the devices that can only use 2.4Ghz.
Help please.

Hi @Paul71
Depending on what you have tried previously, if you did enable & re-enable either WiFi band on this router, there is a bug that the networks won't come back online correctly after doing this. The only workaround currently is to perform a factory reset of your 5464.
Please can you try a factory reset of this first and then I help you if you still can't get it connected.

Router: Talktalk "Fast" 5464-2T4 WIFI hub, via fiber connection
Camera:1080P WIFI CCTV Mini IP camera
Connected to WIFI via its recommended APP where the name and password inputted. It then generates a QR code, shown to the camera for connection to the system

Hi @Paul71
Which make/model of router do you have & how is this camera supposed to be able to connect to the WiFi:-
- WiFi network name & password?
- WPS?
- Via an app?

Thanks. Yes I have re-booted, but to no effect.
In fact the router is working correctly on both 2.4
g and 5g. The device (a wifi cam, operating on 2.4g ) only appears to "see" the 5g, not the 2.4g, hence nothing happens, ie no connection.
I went into the router and turned off the 5g then the device made the connection, ok. Back to the router turned the 5g back on, as before and the device maintained it contact via the 2,4g.
This has now been working correctly for 2 days.
Only time will tell if this solution is "permenant".
