Cisco AnyConnect can no longer connect to my Home WiFi Network

Message 1 of 1

Hello @Debbie-TalkTalk / @Michelle-TalkTalk,

I've copied you in as I've seen other posts over the last couple of days where you have resolved the same issue I am experiencing.

Since last week, I have not been able to log onto my work laptop as the Cisco AnyConnect Application is unable to find the VPN server. As with the other community member issues, the VPN is working fine on a number of other WiFi networks with other ISPs but not with my TalkTalk home WiFi network. I have also tried hotspotting my work laptop using my mobile phone which allows the VPN to activate whilst I am using my mobile data, but is lost and kills my connection once I switch to my TalkTalk WiFi network. I have reset the router multiple times, tried plugging in via Ethernet to no avail.

My employer has confirmed other colleagues are experiencing the same issue, but only with TalkTalk networks. I have been on the chat service for 3 hours tonight and they have told me that the issue is with my IT/VPN provider despite sending them links to other posts (below) that have the same issue - please help!
