I currently have my Eero 6 in legacy mode connected as follows:-
Ont - Archer VR2800 router ( without active wifi in Wireless Router mode ) then Cat5 from router to Eero, Cat5 from router to wired Lan and Cat5 from router to Grandstream DVA
This all works OK for me. However...........
My ideal would be to have the Eero 6 in normal mode.
So, I have a TP-Link 5 port Gigabit switch available to use in place of the router.
Option 1 ONT to switch, Cat5 switch to Eero, Cat5 Eero to DVA, Cat5 Switch to wired Lan.
Option 2 ONT to Eero, Cat5 Eero to switch, then Cat5 from switch to DVA and Cat5 from switch to wired Lan
Which of these two options is recommended?

Hi @Elgin19
@angelique-TT has asked me to help you.
Legacy mode is often misunderstood. When enabled, all it does is to stop the eero from supporting WiFi 6 (802.11ax) on the 2.4GHz band. Wi-Fi 6 is designed to be able to work on both the 2.4 & 5GHz bands. If you try to connect to the eero's 2.4GHz band with a device that does not support Wi-Fi 6, then the eero will permit the connection using Wi-Fi 5 or whatever that device supports.
Now to the connection. Connect the ONT directly to one port of the eero using an Ethernet cable. Then connect its other Ethernet port to the TP-Link 5 port Gigabit switch. From the switch, connect the Grandstream DVA, plus any other devices from your wired LAN.
