service, 900 plus, was getting 900-950 mbps,
lately internet been laggy, discord calls dropping and so on, tested speed, between 80 and 95 mbps down, 98 up. but varies.
Restarted fiber port
Restarted Eero hubs
Ran speed checks, health checks (eero app and on talktalk website)
Note.
SPEED is the same on WIFI OR Ethernet, device OR hardware test (same speed for example, on wifi phone, ethernet pc, or eero self test direct)
Been on live chat waiting for 1.5 hours, and phone for half an hour, no reply.
The internet was that laggy last night, i couldnt log into talktalk, it came up with a security error after 'too many attempts' and blocked me for the night.

Glad you found the problem it may help others in future, i wonder how the pins got bent so badly.

..... thanks for reading the post,
i was on live chat for two hours waiting for a reply, while i wrote the above post.
Anyway, got through to live chat, and after the usual nonsense talk they ended up 'passing' it to some other team to look at, which will take 3 working days (so i wont hear anything until wednesday... which means if there is an issue, there wont be a solution this side of xmas)
SO... I thought. screw this. Made a fresh ethernet cable up. Tested it, plugged it between my pc and the fibre box. Still giving flakey results.

So I suspect the pins were weak/bent/damaged at some point, and as the port has not been touched since install, i can only assume it was at install or manufacture, and the pins were making a weak connection. Anyway, they seem ok for the moment, will wait for this other team to get back to me, and say to them what I found, and ask for a port replacement for good measure.

If you are struggling with phone support give "Live Chat" a try i find it better than phone support.
Scroll down the page to the "Chat Now" link.

While waiting, I have disconnected ALL OTHER DEVICES, ran tests, the same results
Swapped the Ethernet cable, from the fibre port, straight to pc, ran tests, same result.
Plugged everything back in, ran tests, same result (over wifi, or ethernet, or direct from device)
Looks like its a problem From the fibre port onwards. But, the email from talktalk states to talk to someone if you still have a problem...
