New Service WIRED Speed Slow, Talk Talk told me another eero would solve problem?
Hi
So have just signed up went live yesterday on Fibre 900 Data Only Package
With two eero installed tested speeds 85mbps on wired and 300 to 350 wireless
Openreach box and eero router all within 1 meter of desktop computer.
Have tried 3 different hard wired computers and replace both earthnet cables x3 still same results
So have been on the telephone a couple times to technical help and they are insisting another eero will solve the problem with the wired connection.
Cant see how this will improve a wired connection?

Thanks for the help look like its solved now they must have done something there end as suddenly getting gigabyte or close speeds without touching anything my end.

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.
To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, Full Fibre account number & if you can, please include the serial number from your ONT in the Private Notes section. Please also try to include an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-
Personal Profile > Personal Information
Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.

What speed test results do you get if you connect a PC directly to the ONT in place of the gateway Eero?
