Hello,
I'm another case where talktalk and cityfibre are trying to force me to upgrade to full fibre 150. I've recently had texts and emails about a free of charge upgrade which is "part of a wider, digital broadband switchover across the UK." They say engineers are coming on 13th Nov, and there is no simple option to cancel it.
I did not ask for this and I don't want to go ahead with it. I understand that fttc will eventually need to be replaced with full fibre, but I don't agree with how this is being done, and I don't think it should be forced on me. I would like to remain on fibre 35 fttc for the time being.
I asked here when they did this a year ago and thankfully the staff here cancelled the upgrade.
Please can you cancel this upgrade again?
Thanks in advance

Yeah that sounds annoying.
It's probably best if you start your own thread/topic - go to the main page and click 'start topic'. I think that's how it usually works, and then the staff will reply.

Happy to help. I can confirm the order is cancelled.

Hi. Same here. I cancelled the last one by having to make numerous phone calls. City Fibre turned up anyway and text to say there was no one in! I work full time Monday to Friday so will never be in (certainly not using precious annual leave) Please cancel mine for 19th November as I won’t be in
Thanks

Hi Arne, thank you very much.
I just want to say I'm glad this forum exists, as it's much more convenient getting help here than over the phone. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers on here.
