TV/Sky Sports no longer available

Hi All

 

Logged into my account to see what deals were available to renew my fibre 150 plus TV to discover it is fibre only.

 

Been with talktalk for a very long time but I use sky sports a lot.

 

I read a post that I could continue to get sky sports via the now TV app and then another that said you couldn't with talktalk going forward. So I'm confused and don't want to sign up to renew to discover it will stop now or in the future.

I have investigated on the account for the matter and can conclude that the refund was approved for you on 29/04/2025. In this case, I will strongly advise for you to kindly allow 5-7working days for the amount/funds to reflect on your actual bank account.

Thanks for your assistance. I did what you said and there was a refund of £102.16 due.

 

I asked for a refund on 23rd April and have not heard from them, could you look into please?

If you go to the Billing section and click on Previous under the Bill Summary it should show any recent adjustments and your actual current balance.

Thanks, when I logged into my account it says £35.16 will be taken on 22nd April. It doesn't say I am in credit.

Your account is showing as in credit.  

 

You can log into My Account and request a refund for the over payments since disconnection.

I can assure you that NOW TV still include Sky Sports, it is just that TalkTalk no longer offer it as an inclusive option. I have flagged this up for the support team to look at the billing issue for you.

Hi Karl

 

Due to the loss of Sky Sports with NowTV, I left for Sky Sports. I received an email on 22nd Feb confirming I was switching and my service would end on 22/02/25 and there would be a early exit fee of £9.73. I had been waiting on my final bill - no emails or bills since the one above.

 

Today (10/04/25) I received an email with a reminder for £79.26 from what I thought was a dodgy email but when I logged into the account it shows the same information.

 

It looks like TalkTalk did not close my account on 22/02/25. Can this be actioned and closed off and a correct bill issued please?

Hi

 

Yes, TalkTalk no longer provide any NOW TV options, so you can start direct with them and they will bill you directly.

Thanks. I thought it odd they only offered the same speed at £11 dearer than what new customers are offered. Previously there was a choice between different faster speeds.

Karl will answer the first point I am sure. As for upgrading, if you have a Full Fibre service already there is nothing to prevent that, it may just be that the renewal available via My Account does not cover this.  Far better to contact the loyalty team directly and they will be able to go through all the options.

TalkTalk no longer offer NOW TV add to bill services or offers.  To watch or subscribe to Sky Sports or any other Sky content, you will have to go directly to NOW TV.
