Some of my friends are not able to call me since their numbers appear to be blocked, I have not been able to find the list online to unblock them. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Bravo86
I'm so glad to hear this, thanks for letting us know.

Thank you for your patience, at last I have gained access to the list of numbers in Last Caller Barring. I have now removed the complete list, rather than trying to identify just one. Your assistance with this is much appreciated.

@Bravo86, if you are not using Callsafe, last caller barring can be activated first of all by ticking a box in My Account.
You would then use the phone to check barred numbers listed, after dialling 14258.
See the instructions here:
You may have inadvertently blocked someone there. You will need to listen to the list of numbers, if they have previously been added.

Thank you for your advice, I have never used CallSafe but it became accidentally invoked when I used the phone to access barred numbers, so I disabled it as soon as possible. I had also tried your previous suggestion, dialling 14258, this resulted in "Service Request not Available" response. Seems I'm stuck for now, but I appreciate your efforts.

@Bravo86, your safe / blocked calls list is not stored in My Account when you switch Callsafe off, which is why they say in the instructions to make a note of the numbers before you do so.

Thank you Debbie,
Being an ancient (I'm in my 87th year) I really struggle with this, so please bear with me if I don't understand exactly how I should proceed.
I have logged into My Account and checked my phone settings, Last Caller Barring is not selected. In the past I have used this facility, not through My Account, but by a code on the phone keypad. I assume that CallSafe is replacing this, so I have check that also and it is currently OFF. I am still unable to find a list of calls which may have been barred, is it not possible for TalkTalk to unbar all numbers associated with My Account, if I give the instruction? I would then be able to deal with any new undesirable contacts.

Hi Bravo86
I'm so sorry to hear this.
Ok, when you log into My Account - Choose Networks & Connections from the navigation menu then My Telephone Settings. Does last caller barring show activated?
Have you ever logged into My Account and specifically blocked certain numbers or have you never used this feature before?

Well, here I am again. Despite deselecting Last Caller Barring and ensuring CallSafe is OFF, a friend tells me that my landline number is still barred to him. I have been unable to detect a list of numbers to find barred callers and it seems impossible to get a real person to speak to me. Rather poor for a company whose business is communication. Any suggestions would be most welcome, thank you.

Thanks

As an ancient, in my 87th year, I was confused and accidently invoked CALLSAFE, but thanks to the information you introduced me to, I have disabled it and assume there will be no numbers still blocked. I had tried to speak to a real person, but that failed and the only options appeared to be CHAT or TEXT, both of which I have difficulty with.
Many thanks for your help.

If you use Callsafe the instructions for this are here:
https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-use-CallSafe/ta-p/2204789
If you're using Last Caller Barring, dial 14258. You'll need to follow instructions using your keypad and listen to the list of numbers one at a time.
If any of your friends withholds their number and you have Anonymous Caller Reject active, they won't get through, @Bravo86.
So what have you got set up?
