I reported a fault on my landline on 17th January but have heard nothing from Talk Talk since then and the fault has not been fixed.   I am not able to make or receive calls - there is a crackle on the line when I pick up the handset.  Please could this been addressed asap.

many thanks.

Hi Willow66

The fault is currently with the line engineer. I will check on this again in the morning for further updates.

Thanks

Hi Willow66

Thanks for your reply.

This fault has been escalated to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer.

I will continue to monitor for additional updates and I will post back on this thread as soon as I have further information.

I do not have a test socket.   My landline is still not working and the fault was reported on 17th January.  Please can this be fixed ASAP.

Hi Willow66

I'm really sorry to hear this.

The line test has detected a potential fault. Can I just check, is the phone connected at the test socket at the moment?

Thanks
