I reported a fault wsith my telephone line last week, I received an email that the faukt had been fixed.
when I tried it there was no dialling tone. I am still without a telephone line for wich I am paying for.

Use Chat to make sure that Talktalk records this properly, @tadpole54.
Using My Connection to diagnose a fault seems to send false reports of it being sorted etc, so better to speak to human beings about it.

Make sure that your profile information is complete for them to identify your account. Add the Talktalk landline number by going via your avatar; settings; drop down menu....Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.
