Not sure if this is the correct forum for this but given I've spent an hour on the phone to support with no resolution I guess it's worth a shot.
We currently have the Huawei DN360T TalkTalkTV box for our TV and it's experiencing a number of issues, the box is incredibly slow to boot and use (e.g. switching menus, using apps), the streaming applications crash randomly (e.g. BBC Iplayer or NowTV) and the box itself crashes at random intervals.
So far I've tried resetting the box (both using the hardware buttons at the front and through the menu), power cycling the box off using the button at the back and from the power outlet. Having a quick look at the TalkTalk website it looks the box could just be outdated (according to Witch it was released in June 2014.) So could just be showing it's age although getting a replacement from support seems to be very difficult.
If anyone else has experienced a similar issue, do you have any idea how to resolve it?

If the box is failing or reaching end of life, this canniot be repaired or replaced.
TalkTalk stopped providing these boxes just over two and a half years ago.
we now offer the 4K TV box and you may be able to request one of these. If out of contract, you will need to renew the contract and have TalkTalk entertainment added.
If you call and speak to our Customer Loyalty team, they can arrange this if this is something you are interested in taking.
