The 4K remote that came with our box is awful! Quite often we press the pause button but it will rewind or fast forward instead! The buttons are really 'graunchy' and not at all positive. It's so annoying. Is this a common problem?

This should not FF or REW immediately unless Timeshifting has already started.
When you press the pause button, do you see a message that says ... Timeshifting is starting please wait ?

Yes, I believe it is the Netgem. Photo of the remote attached.
