We have the 4K tv box and an icon has appeared, looking like an inverted bell with a slash

Does anyone know how to remove the upturned bell icon which is only visible when the tv box is connected? Never seen it before, everything else is ok.

Had the same problem, turn off all your peripheral devices like surround sound amps connected to the tv so you are hearing the tv speakers  on their own.Press the mute button on the handset for the box, and the tv volume bar appears and you should hear the sound of your tv speakers. You can now turn on peripheral devices and be back to normal.

this looks like a mute icon, for when you mute the sound.

Not sure what the icon refers to, or the position on screen, are you able to post a picture of the screen so I can identify the icon.
