Hello, I'm a Shell Broadband transfer unfortunately.
I've input my bank/payment details in my talktalk account portal to set up a direct debit last month (June '24). I can see the bank details partially displayed and look to be correct although the account and sort code are partially obsured for some bizarre reason.
as of today (24 July '24) there is still no DD setup for talktalk in my banking DD list...
Payment is due on the 30th July, last month the DD payment was rejected and paid by card.
There is no evidence of that one off payment made last month on my talk talk billing.
So this months bill also includes last months rejected payment/bill
I was also sent an email last month (June) stating I would be charged an additional £12.50 for a rejected payment. There is no sign of that charge in my billing this month either.
In addition I want to change my email address and I am prevented from doing so, the email I want to use / change to is for some bizarre reason linked to an account number I know nothing about... so I've had to use a temporary email address to create a talktalk account portal for the correct account number.
I made enquiries via phone call about this issue soon after transfer and was fobbed off by no less than three agents who told me the email issue would resolve in a few days and that the issue was related to the transfer. Months later the exact same problem exists and I still cannot change my email address.
I rue the day this transfer happened... what in the heck is going on?

We are aware of the DD issue, there will not be any admin charges while the issue is ongoing
I have checked your account and bills its shows the following
Invoice produced 19.05 Card Payment was taken 01/06 for this invoice
Next invoice produced 21/06, there was no one-off payment taken for it.
Latest invoice produced 22.07 the amount shown is for this months and last months
Your have not been charged any admin fees
Please contact us to make an manual payment for the latest invoice.
