Hi,
I've made a one off payment towards my bill but your page said there were difficulties and to try again which I have done but you have now charged me twice even though I've had no verification of payment going through.
Money is tight as it is for everyone right now and I cannot afford 84 pounds coming out of my bank today to you. Which is no fault of my own. Please reimburse this money immediately else I will be leaving talk talk and will not be taking out another contract like I was planning on doing today.

@thewhiskydog, please start your own thread for this as the accounts need to be checked separately and not muddled up with other customers'.
The original poster needs to reply on here.
It gives a clearer indication of the scale of the problem to Talktalk too if there are more individual customer threads on the issue.

yes but the portal doesn't even work properly today.

Same issue here there site keeps crashing and not loading properly.
Also giving two different outstanding balances.

There is still an outstanding balance for August

Once the credit is showing in My Account you can request it is refunded.
