I sold flat 24th May 2024.
Was mix up. Landline and broadband services were disconnected as switching provider and keeping landline. Instead of full disconnection. 6 months later I still have talktalk account. I can't get provider to take over disconnected line in property i no longer own. Talktalk say they can't shut disconnected line and can't stop billing me for it forever!

@Traveller3, My Account doesn't get closed because you may want to check back through old bills for a year after you leave.
If you are being charged line rental alone, you must have been on a very old, rather expensive legacy package?
What was it called?
Talktalk hasn't charged line rental separately from the broadband service since 2016:

Landline and broadband services disconnected 3rd june but no provider took over and not full cancellation. Was mistake. Myaccount is not closed, line rental charged each month. I can't get provider to take line no longer own flat. Talktalk not stopping disconnected line, charging me forever. No provider can take over.

I know it was disconnected but no broadband provider took over and wasn't fully disconnected either. I need TalkTalk to SHUT down this disconnected line. My talktalk account is still active, i am still and no broadband provider to take over line!
