I'm having problems with my wifi calls dropping out on my Samsung phone.  Also sometimes I can't stream music and look up other websites at the same time, getting a message saying I don't have sufficient bandwidth.  I Googled the router and it seems it is 'end of life' and not receiving updates since 2024.  Not much luck with online chat or phoning talk talk.  Should they be replacing this router?  Does anyone think it would help?  Many thanks for any ideas.

Thank you, does the problem occur everywhere you try and use the WiFi, or just in certain parts of the house - for example upstairs, or outside the house?

No - that's fine.

Hi there, thank you for updating your details, we will proceed with checks kindly confirm if you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?

For example, a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

If you phone the loyalty department on Monday and recontract, you should be able to request a new router as part of the deal.

You should probably also get a better monthly deal than currently being out of contract.

I am out of contract at the moment.  The router doesn't seem too bad generally - occasional buffering when streaming.  Main problem is using wifi calling - it keeps cutting out.  My mobile signal isn't good either so using wifi calling.

Hi @jmdor can we assume you are in contract and that the router is failing generally with drop outs and other intermittent issues?

The staff here will be back at work on Monday and pick up the thread then.

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
