Do I need to upgrade my router?

Broadband speed to the house is ok according to the speed test, but wifi inside the house is awful. We upgraded to faster fibre 65 but the router wasn't upgraded.  We still have the old Huawei router from our first talk-talk package many years ago. We are only a 3 person household so generally there is never more than 3 smart phones, 2 smart tv's, an x-box and a couple of laptops connected to the internet. Do we need to upgrade the router?

The Huawei no longer gets updates, so staff will swap it for a Sagemcom router. They will reply after the weekend, @Raintown.

 

Ensure that your profile information details are completed.
