TalkTalk confirmed my appointment was changed from today to tomorrow. They arrived today and I was obviously out! Now saying I will be charged £75.

Thanks for your post. 

 

You have an open complaint so you will need to speak to the complaints team when they contact you, but usually you have to cancel the appointment before 2pm, the notes indicate that it was around 5pm when it was re-arranged which have been too late to clear the appointment on Openreach's systems.

Was it before noon the day before the original appointment?
