Ironically planning to leave TalkTalk next week when the whole god damn service crumbles. Get it together talk talk and sort it out.

If there is local area fault then you'll just have to wait until it is fixed.

 

S*** happens.

 

A fault does not give you the right to leave without penalty so if you are still in contract be prepared to pay early termination charges.

Been on the live chat this morning for 1½ hours. Still not fixed. Absolutely disgraceful service at this point - will be asking to leave today.

Ok yep, solid amber would indicate that the routers physical connection is ok, but it can't log into the TalkTalk network. If it is a wide outage then hopefully they will be aware of this and will get it resolved quickly, but if it is not working by morning then you could always use the live chat link to report the issue.

It is solid orange. Nothing wrong with the router. DownDetector shows that the service is down I. my entire area.

What light(s) are showing on the router ?

What model of router do you have ?

 

The Support Team on this community probably won't be around until Monday now, so you may get faster support by using the live chat or calling customer services on 0345 172 0088 over the weekend, however the Support Team here should respond to this topic early next week to help if you are still having issues.

 

For one of the TalkTalk Support Team on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.
