In my area fibre optic cable has been attached to junction boxes on every 10th house approximately, so as far as I can see it can now be connected to individual houses, running a few yards of fibre to replace the copper.  I asked the guys fitting it, how to find out how to connect to the system and they gave me an Openreach reference but I can't see anything relevant on it.

The firm doing the work were contractors M J Quinn from Liverpool.

I would like to be connected to this new system - what do I do?

You will have to order this via BT. TalkTalk are not offerening FTTP in Merseyside at present and do not appear to be close to doing so.

BY lead time is 7 days for fitting. Openreach will need to access property in order to fit the modem and a UPS.

Hope this helps, I have been trying to get an answer myself and finally talktalk owned up, to not being able to offer FTTP in Merseyside. (21/05/2020)

I am a current talktalk customer in the process of moving due to the customer service grinding to a halt!

Regards
