Router has been reset, browser and TalkTalk speed test, quite a variance

Just to confirm, did you switch the router off for a full 30 minutes? (it needs at least 30 minutes to start a new session)

Followed all instructions - today, I still have a rubbish Fibre??? broadband, my router shows one speed - speed test shows real figure!

Hi @fsurfer,
Are you running the speed tests from a wired or wireless device ?
Have you tried switching the router off for over 30 minutes, this will force a new session in the street cabinet and can often help get your 'wired' throughput speeds up much closer to your sync speeds.
The TalkTalk staff on this community will be able to help, they will hopefully be able to respond to this post tomorrow.
