I have currently standard Fibre 65 copper with the TT Hub 2 -black A shaped one.
I experience about 2-4 x times a day random drop outs lasting from 1s to longer periods - a bit annoying as I work from home FT.
I not gone down a Fibre upgrade. However, the customer service support said after some line checks my current TT router needs a firmware update. They posted me the same model router.
Is there any benefit for me replacing them? As i prefer to avoid having to update all my device passwords, logins etc.

Hi
I have swapped over my router since yesterday. I return the old one next week.

Hi @astrospud
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I just wanted to check how many times you switch the router off, as I could see around 5 re connections on the line and I wanted to see if this was drops in connection or reboots.
It would be worth testing with the other router, this will help to rule out any faults with your current router.

Hi
do you mean a simple switch off, wait a few seconds, then switch back on?
I had to do this 2 days ago as my router flashed red for a few mins.
Is there any benefit to changing my router to the same model number I received?

Hi @astrospud
Thanks for updating your Community Profile.
The line tests are clear but I can see some re connections on the line, do you ever reboot the router?

Hi @astrospud
I'm sorry to hear this. Can I just check, do you experience wired drops too or does it only affect wireless?

You could use your existing WiFi SSID and password in the new router.
