I have an old Huawei HG633 router which has to be rebooted frequently to perform at full speed. My broadband connection is fine and according to my Service Status, my broadband speed to my router over the past 7 days is 55 Mbps. My broadband falls as low as 2 Mbps every day until I reboot the router and then it works at full speed again.
How do I get a replacement router? Thanks, H

I have exactly the same problem I have spoken to talktalk support who insist the input to the router is 65Mbs and the fault must lie with my connections. I disconnected my ethernet cable from my computer and went wireless and my computer went to 65Mbs straight away! Since then there have been several reboots of the HG 633 router to put the speed up from 30Mbs, 40Mbs etc to 65Mbs. In the meantime I have disconnected and re connected the cables from router to phone socket. Is it just the fact that the router is old?
Is the problem I have changed to Fibre?

Hi ehowr
Sorry for the delay.
I've ordered you a replacement router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.

This is probably WiFi interference, but TalkTalk will certainly replace that for a new router, as it is now very old. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and replace it for you. If it is still bad with the new router, as I can help a lot with WiFi interference.
