having received a letter re annual price increase it also informed that my router would no longer accept updates or security issues due to age . I chatted with talktalk - computor / 3 agents /2 departments - all asking to repeat myself over and over till I ended conversation advising pass details on to appropriate ombudsman etc etc .

My point was

surely Talk talk should replace my router if out of date as we have a contract ? If the current one no longer accepts updates , how do I know I am getting my contract honoured? Router

Hi @Geeman##

Is your router model listed here -  https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Telecoms-Security-Act-Unsupported-Devices/ta-p/3102538

Thanks

Karl.

As long as your connection is still working there is nothing to worry about. The notification is a regulatory requirement.
