My router is not connecting to the internet the Orange light keeps flashing and ive opened a case nearly 24h ago

It does help, because it indicates that your broadband connection is coming through fine. Try connecting a device directly by ethernet cable to the LAN port on the ONT. Then check that the ethernet cable connection between the ONT and router at both ends is sound and secure. Finally try switching off the router for a full 30 minutes. Let us know if that helps.

Morning,

 

Thank you. I've run a test on the line now which hasn't detected a fault. What lights are currently on the ONT box on the wall please? Does the connection work if you remove the router and connect wired directly at the ONT please?
