TalkTalk TV Hub Unresponsive - Can't Access Home

As of this evening, my TalkTalk TV Hub won't access the home page, and is just a black screen.  Disconnecting the power and restarting the machine does nothing.  Menu overlays still function (stating that the remote control has been connected, for example) and I can access the Accessibility menu by pressing the ... button at the bottom right of the remote, but I can't find ways to access any of the menus that might help establish what the issue is.

What might the cause of the problem be and is there any way to fix it that doesn't require a full factory reset?

Hi

the next option is a full android reset.  You can find reset instructions at

Thanks

Hi Karl,

I did as you suggested, but the results are the same.  Everything is working apart from the home page and guide (which is presumably the YouView component of the box).  I created shortcuts for my own apps and these are still working; one of them is Kodi, which I found gives me access to all of the Android menus (whereas yesterday I could only access the Accessibility menu), but this doesn't really help.

Is there any way of updating/restoring the YouView module?

Many thanks for your time

Hi

Leave the box powered off for 30 minutes - disconnect the HDMI also , so there is so residual power through this, then reconnect and power on and see what happens.
