Hi, I've recently tried to get onto fastpath from interleaved by turning router off for full 30 minutes and hoping broadband is stable, after doing so my broadband was stable for 12 days until I dropped internet, in that case the router was flashing orange and white, which was odd, and afterwards my dsl up time was still in sync, which was weird, the user log showed:
2022-01-20 14:37:17 [Notice][Run-Log] SNTP has synchronized successfully, current time is [2022-01-20 14:37:17+00:00], uptime is [1070055s].
I then tried resetting the router for 30 minutes again, and it was stable almost 10 days I believe, this time around the dsl time reset on the router, and the router flashed orange only, which seems more normal for an internet drop, the user logs said:
2022-01-31 14:38:31 [Notice][Run-Log] SNTP has synchronized successfully, current time is [2022-01-31 14:38:31+00:00], uptime is [864496s].
And this time also the debug logs showed this at time of internet drop:
2022-01-31 14:37:57 [Critical][Debug-Log] static:Receive DSL port down msg!
2022-01-31 14:37:57 [Debug][Debug-Log] static:[WAN_MNGT] ipv4 if set wan state down, wan Index=0x10201001.
2022-01-31 14:37:58 [Debug][Debug-Log] static:[L2M] xdsl channel 1 state change process. Status=down.
2022-01-31 14:38:04 [Critical][Debug-Log] static:Receive DSL port init msg!
2022-01-31 14:38:05 [Critical][Debug-Log] static:Receive DSL port trainning msg!
2022-01-31 14:38:27 [Critical][Debug-Log] static:Receive DSL port up msg!
2022-01-31 14:38:27 [Critical][Debug-Log] static:[dhcpc]get wan[wan3] ifindex[41] and Mac Addr[c4:44:7d:4a:61:a6] success!
2022-01-31 14:38:27 [Debug][Debug-Log] static:[L2M] xdsl channel 1 state change process. Status=up.
Now that I'm looking at the internet drop outs, they seemed to happen at a similar times, maybe coincidence? Anyway these are the logs, thought the debug ones were weird.
So my questions are:
- Do these logs mean anything meaningful, e.g. what caused the broadband drop?
- Are they normal or out of the ordinary
- Lights on router flashing orange and white what does it mean?
- Was the first "drop" an actual drop? The router flashed orange and white, I got disconnected out of a game during that time, and while the front page router time reset to 00:00:00, the DSL up time and device uptime were in sync.
The router is the Huawei Wifi-hub black (luckily no kernel panic :P)
Thanks in advance

Morning,
Unfortunately we have no control over specific profiles as this is managed by DLM to provide the best balance between stability and speed. Are you experiencing any issues with the overall performance of the connection?
Thanks

Oh yeah, I just saw posts back in the day saying that switching router off for 30 minutes makes the DLM wake up, so if your router remains stable for a long period of time, it would move you to fastpath, that was my goal. So since the line is stable but my internet dropped, are my chances of getting fastpath still good? I know its a bad question as it entirely depends on DLM, just want to ask to make sure.
Also do the logs mean anything, is there anything there that indicated why the broadband dropped? I'd like to reduce the errors and drops if there is anything I can do on my end, as I'd like fastpath back asap.
Thanks for the swift response

Hi adrian555155,
Line test is clear and router is in sync at 55.5Mbps. DLM would have to change your profile to one with interleaving switched off (fastpath) so switching the router off for 30 minutes wouldn't have any affect on moving to a fastpath profile
(The flashing orange light just shows that the router is trying to connect to the internet)
