I received a text message the other day from Talktalk Saying " Great news . We are upgrading you to a faster broadband Service, on us. You don't need to do anything. We've sent an email with more details.     Your Talk Talk Team"

No email no nothing is this a scam or what?

TalkTalk are upgrading customers when that is a feasible option. Upgrading to a fibre service at no additional cost.

 

An email from TalkTalk can be identified as genuine if you access that email via TalkTalk Mail and an Internet browser login. There's going to be a yellow padlock icon on the From line of the email.  Of course that check is only good if sent to your talktalk email address.

 

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your talktalk email address and your email password, select Sign in.

 

You can look in your customer MyAccount and check for pending orders.
