slow broadband speed

Been on fibre since September 2019, speed 38/9.5

During the last few weeks speed often drops to about 20/9.5. Have used talktalk speed test as well as BT and Which, 3-4 times a times a day (between about 8.30 am and 10. pm during the last 3-4 weeks.

Wired connection, not wireless, and have turned computer and router off to see if that made any difference.

I'm sorry to hear this and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which has detected a possible fault so I've passed this over to Openreach now for an external line invesigation to be completed. If you don't hear any more over the weekend then please post back here on Monday and we can re-check for an update on the fault for you.
