Torrent speeds

Trying to download a torrent and I'll start it speed peaks up to about 1mbs then within a minute drops to 10kbps and consistently stays there. Restart the app and it comes back up again then drops within a minute. Does this get throttled I've tried all times of day and night. The only way I can find this file as not available in UK so no other option. Any advise.

Ok just seems very strange it's so predictable like something is seeing it and then dropping the speed it doesn't jump about just straight drop.

We don't slow the speed, this could be an issue with the source.

Hi Debbie I've not tried it over wire but I've tried multiple devices. Unfortunately the devices I use do not have an ethernet I'm not sure we're my adaptor is to try. My speeds are absolutely fine with everything else I can let's say stream 4k quite happily.

Do you only have this issue with one particular file or is it all files that you've tried to download from this source?
