White light showing but devices not connected

Hi,
For over a week I have had the same continuous problem with my router, the white light stays on however my devices keep disconnecting and we have to turn the router off and on again for it to work for another short time period (this problem has become more frequent).
This is very frustrating with children at home trying to game and do homework on iPads which they are unable to do as the WiFi stops working. I would like this issue resolved ASAP as I'm getting no help from the team, I have tried the live chat and had no response for a very long time as it appears to be busy and when I do check back later the chat is shut down as I miss the reply, do they expect me to sit with my phone and wait for a reply.
With Christmas next week, I would like to know what the next step is and how I can get around this.
Many thanks, please help.
