Im fed up to the back teeth with the poor range of my Talktalk router . I have a range extender which seems ok at first but I just kept getting the red light indicating poor signal strength ( and low speed ) .

So im looking at changing to another brand of high speed / stronger signal etc and an external EAP wifi antenna .

How do I obtain the network settings for an aftermarket router to operate on talktalk fibre broadband ?

thanks

Hi

You can use your own router, setup with most routers is automatic.

I currently use an Asus router, and when setting this up, I just chose the option - My ISP does not require a username / password.  I'm also in FTTP, and the router works fine.

Karl.
