Hi I've been told that I need a new line as they say mine not compatible !!!!.  This only happened after I asked for a specific start date

The line was installed by openreach 5 years ago and currently have fibre from BT with 60mb download speeds why would this not be compatible

Any advice or enlightenment appreciated

Hi Michelle. My partner spoke to technical and customer service today
And they are still telling me I need a new line and number. Bit of a joke to be honest. Think ill look at a different company for my custom

Well that's nonsense basically. I suggest you call the sales team directly tomorrow. 

 

It is not possible to ask for a specific start date, although they should be able to give you an estimate based on Openreach engineer availability. If you ask them to keep your number they should make all the necessary arrangements with your current provider, assuming you are free to leave.

 

Alternatively you could try signing up online, have a look at the many offers available via comparison sites.
