Router light burning out/going dim

Hi, I've noticed recently that the white light on the router from being bright is now slowly disappearing like it's burning out and may stop working completely like how a lightbulb goes dim and goes off when it's not working it's like the same as that. Now I still have internet access going on but it's the router light that's going away and may stop working so it may need a new light added in the router. What should I do about this? Would it still work if the light disappears I wouldn't tell whether the router is on or switched off without the light not working.

There would be no charge for the router. I would also send a returns bag so the current router can be returned.
