I have been a TT customer for many many years, but have been trying to get Fibre 500 with VOIP since November. The first 8  times cancelled almost immediately by Openreach, TT were not interested in finding out why, just kept saying order again. So i contacted Openreach them and the cabinet My address was associated with was no capacity, so they associated my address with another and gave me an address identifier. The next 3 times have been cancelled / rejected by TT but again not interested in finding out why TT are cancelling the order without telling they have, or interested in using the address key identifier. I place orders, get a contracts email and welcome to full fibre email, then no on can find the order or that i ever placed an order. I get a different reason each time i call, it is answer bingo, last said not available for me. But Openreach say it certainly is. Their systems are not fit for purpose, how can you place an order that no one can then find, or that you have ever placed an order. I want to leave as soon as possible and get it from another company that can actually give me what i want. How much will it cost me  to leave, i have lost too much of my life on the phones and chats, i  just can't do it anymore. Only getting 30mb on a fibre 65 is not good enough. I want fibre 500 and have to go somewhere else who can provide it

We can only apologize for the problems, hope it all goes well with your new provider.

So It looks like I will never get full fibre from TT as they say they cannot provide it, even when numerous emails from Openreach say it is available and your BB provider should be able to order it. I am sure it is down to my account and not that it is not available, but they cannot tell me why TT  cannot provide it. It does not matter who I speak to, they say it is available, then cannot order or cancel the order without telling you. If they cannot provide it, they MUST know why, but never tell you why

Total mess, they just don't care enough to give you information

I wish i could afford to leave, but would cost me too much, I will leave asap, so I can get future fibre from a company that can actually provide it, which TT seem in capable of doing or even telling me why it is cancelled

Hi I have ben in touch with Future fibre team, order management, openreach sales team, every time, no one can find the order or even know that i have placed an order, it is disappearing into the TT abyss by their so called order management system. No one can find it or tell me why it has been cancelled by TT

I am afraid it only gets worse once you  have a future fibre installation. For some reason every time you call you will be told you don't have future fibre, only once you convince them yes you do ( or should have it), they will have to put you through to future fibre support people.

It seems daft that if Talk Talk want to have two parallel systems, they don't have two telephone numbers / systems as well., or give the option of going straight to future fibre support.

You can get an idea about early termination fees from the information on this page, @Manc123:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Cancel-your-TalkTalk-service/ta-p/2204737

The precise figure comes through with the acknowledgement of the cancellation order, when you still have a chance to change your mind.
