Not sure what you mean by time related, but yes I understand if fault is on my side, I will have to pay for engineer visit.

I need box and wiring checked.  Available all day next  Mon, Tues or Thursday.

Morning,

If the noise is still present at the test socket with 2 phones then we'll need to arrange another engineer visit. Please can you confirm acceptance of potential time related engineer charges and provide a few days availability AM and PM and we can book this in for you.

Thanks

Michelle

Good afternoon,

Ok thank you for confirming. I've re-run the line test now which is clear, however I can see that there is currently planned maintenance work ongoing. As this may be affecting the line then I will check this again in the morning to see if this is resolved before we raise this back to Openreach.

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Michelle, yes the noise is still at test socket, he did not use his own equipment to test socket.  He did check green box in road and said he found two damage clips which he replaced.

Morning,

I'm sorry for the delay. Can I just confirm, was the engineer also able to replicate the noise when they tested with there own equipment? Is the noise still present at the test socket at the moment please?

Thanks

Michelle

Hi @newboy

Thanks for your reply.

Are there any specific days you aren't available for an engineer? I can then book the first available visit based upon your availability.

Hi newboy,

Did you try with the telephone connected to the test socket (the socket under the master socket faceplate)?

How many telephone sockets do you have in your home?
