Hi Guys
Since about 4.30pm yesterday (23/3/22) my landline has not been working. I noticed a message suddenly appear on all 3 of my housephones saying "Please Check Phone Connection", when I checked there was no dialing tone. I also rang the housephone, and the caller hears the call tone, but the housephone does not ring.
The internet is working okay using the same connection coming into the house.
I have been through your checklist and even plugged into the Test connection and still have the same issue.
Could somebody check the line for me please.

Openreach have now advised that an engineer should be investigating this fault on 29 Mar-22.

I've completed a line test which has detected a potential line fault so I have escalated this over to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer.
We should receive further updates from Openreach within the next 48-72hrs. I will also continue to monitor for additional updates.

If the blue button didn't show, you need to disable ad blockers from your browser settings and ensure that pop ups are allowed. Sometimes it works automatically in a different browser.
It's a common problem, unfortunately. They'll be live again from 9am.
Or, as you say, staff may pick this up soon enough.
For complete loss of service, after allowing for the minimum period for repair, there is an automatic compensation scheme in place:

It would come through c 30 days after the fault is sorted, if it applies in your case.

Thanks for the info Gliwmaeden2. I just went to that link and there is no link to "Live Chat". I see the phone number, but as you say it may be expensive to phone via my mobile. I'll wait until tomorrow and see if anyone replies.
