Have you checked your bill section of My Account?
Once it's been processed there will be a button to request a refund. It takes a couple of days but you should get it back.
I doubt it can be done any quicker by TalkTalk.
If you paid by debit or credit card, you may be able to ask them to process a charge back for one of the payments
