Hi my nan as a home security alarm that requires the phone line to work. The old connectors on the wall are no longer active so it's been plugged into the phone slot on the old routers. She now as a eero that no longer as a phone slot. We have had to plug the phone slot into the old black router and connected that to the eero by ethernet this works. But how do we set it up so that we can just use the one eero router instead of two routers ?
the above image I have found this device but not sure it will run the alarm because it's a older alarm box not sure it's digital voice compatible.

She needs a Grandstream DVA. This takes the landline phone via an adapter into the DVA and an Ethernet connection from there to the eero. Note not all alarm systems support Digital Voice. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and check that the account has Digital Voice and if so supply the DVA to her
They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.
